Pupils from across Killeigh NS recently  took part in fun science activities to celebrate science week.  A fun week was finished off in style with a fantastic science fair which was hosted by Mr Breslins 5th class and Ms Ryans 4th class. There were a wide range of experiments and demonstrations including
how pulleys can lighten the load
  • electromagnets
  • lava lamp
  • surface tension of milk
  • elephant toothpaste
  • how light can be bent
  • sound is a series of vibrations
  • the solar system
  • how balloons can support a group of children
  • charge a phone using a watermelon
  • how carbon dioxide can be made and used to blow out candles
  • slime
Please find a selection of the photos from the day. Unfortunately due to technical difficulties some of the pictures went missing. Apologies to anyone who does not feature here.
