6th class Graduation evening

Post date: Jul 01, 2020 4:44:51 PM

On Tuesday 30th June, we held a short, socially distanced get together to say a fond farewell to our departing 6th class. The pupils of 6th class have spent the last eight years in Killeigh NS and although they could not physically attend for the last few months of their time in primary school, it is fair to say they have made a huge impression on everyone. Speakers on the night included Fr John, Principal Ms Sheeran, class teacher Ms Screeney and our principal on secondment Mr White.

The class were praised for their contribution to school life over the last 8 years and were offered best wishes and advice for the future. Pupils also made contributions on the night including poetry, prayers and music and singing. It was a beautiful night and sincere thanks go to the boys and girls and their parents for coming. Fr John and Mr White for being our special guests. We would also like to thank the many members of our staff who helped on the night. Special thanks must go to Ms Dunne, Ms Berry, Ms Sheeran and in particular Ms Screeney for making it such a memorable occasion.
