Making butter: Materials and change
First class enjoyed an afternoon of making and tasting butter. As we were covering the farm and journey of milk in SESE this
tied in nicely. Children observed he changes that occur in materials from cream to buttermilk to butter through the shaking of
the jar of cream. We then tasted our butter on cream crackers , discussed the uses of buttermilk and the results of our
experiment I.e what we could change during our investigation if we were to do it again.
