Our VEX robotics team took part in this years VEX IQ Full Volume competition. Congratulations to our VEX robotics team who had a very successful day at today's Midlands Full Volume VEX robotics competition in Mucklagh. The boys and girls have put huge work into designing, building, driving and coding their robot. The task in this years competition was to collect blocks of different sizes and deliver them to a scoring zone. Game strategy was as important as any of the other tasks mentioned above. The team travelled to Mucklagh and took part in the Midlands competition. Thankfully they had a clean run free of any technical hitches and thanks to some excellent performances they won the skills competition, the teamwork challenge with St Brendan's Birr and a wonderful day was capped off in fine style when they won the Excellence award. 

As a result of this, the team qualified to take part in the national finals in MTU in Cork. Another great days competition was rewarded with 2nd place in the teamwork challenge. We are exceptionally priud of this achievement.
