This morning our class had some furry friends visit us. It gave some of us the shivers. We examined some caterpillars. Caterpillars are beautiful minibeasts that turn in to butterfly's.

We enjoyed watching them crawl around and we examined their legs and identified their body parts.

A caterpillar has 16 legs. Some of them were sticky. When we got them first they curled into a ball. They also pooed a lot. They came from Mr Breslins turnip plants. They love eating leaves like cabbage, broccoli, turnip etc.
