Engineers week in 5th class

The boys and girls of Mr Breslins 5th class took on the challenge of designing and building an electronic board game. Building on the knowledge they had gained from learning about electrical circuits, they looked at simple games they could design themselves using simple circuits.

Kaylah, Charlie, Caoimhe and Gary have designed an electronic game called "Switch It" for Engineers week. The aim of the game is to get the pattern right.

Katelyn, Mollie, Patrick and Darragh made an electronic fuzzball table. when the ball goes into the goals a buzzer goes off and a light turns on.

Aoife, Shane, Conor and Skaiste made an electronic operation game. when you touch the tinfoil with the tweezers lights light up and a buzzer goes off.

 Hannah, Alannah and Tanya made a game called "Can you be the Dentist" for Engineers week. If you land on a bad tooth a buzzer goes off and its eyes light up. when that happens, you have to pick up a card.
