It is with great pride that we announce that our school hurling and camgie teams have qualified for the Cuman na mBunscoil finals. They both take place next Thursday 17th May in O'Connor park Tullamore. The girls throw in at 3:30 against St Philomenas and the boys take on Durrow at 4:45. Both teams have worked very hard to get here and all support would be welcome. Note above times are throw in times. Players will be advised next week of time to be in O'Connor park.
Spectators are asked to note the following:
there will be a €5 charge per adult to attend the finals This will be used to cover the cost of referees, medals, pipers, programmes etc. There will be no charge for children. Any money left over from final expenses goes back into Cumann na mBunscol accounts and is used to subsidize hurls , helmets and equipment. We also did not receive any funding from Croke park this year, hence another reason for the increase in the entry fee to €5
parents are advised that there is limited car parking available as the Tullamore GAA centre car park may not be available.
