Class of 2021 Graduation ceremony

Post date: Jun 23, 2021 6:31:25 PM

Today we said a fond farewell to our graduating 6th class. It has been a tough couple of years that has tested our resolve, however the boys and girls in Ms McElduffs 6th  class and Mr Breslins 6th class have shown that they have the resilience and the character to get through anything.

Ms Sheeran praised the spirit shown by the pupils and told them how proud we were of them. They have shown courage, resilience, strength, determination and hard work right through their time with us but particularly in the last 18 months. There will always be a welcome for them in our school.

Mr White also praised the boys and girls and told them how wonderful it was to be able to watch them grow in our school.

We wish the boys and girls of 6th class 2021 the very best for the future.

In addition to our graduation ceremony, it has become a tradition to create a graduation video for our pupils that captures the essence of the journey that the children have taken through our school. We thank our parents for sending in old photos of your child. The rest of us had great fun trying to guess who everyone was.

We wish to thank Ronan Cleary from Ms McElduffs class who very kindly volunteered to create this video. We think you will agree that Ronan has done an excellent job. This video can be viewed at  https://animoto.com/play/7uH48WEtq1PH4oltioSO3g
