Killeigh N.S has been selected as one of the 2 beneficiaries of Fàile Vintage Club's Annual Tractor Run. This will take place on March 10th, beginning in Daingean. The other beneficiary is Offaly Down Syndrome.

Each beneficiary will get to keep the funds raised by their organisation for the purposes outlined in our proposal to the Fàile committee, which in our case includes the purchase of valuable teaching aids and the provision of necessary supports for children in our school. All children in the school will benefit from the money raised, including those children in our Sìolta class, which caters for children with autism.

Registration will begin at 9.30am, at Seery's Bar and Lounge, Daingean and the tractors will then travel a route from Daingean to Killeigh. A raffle and an auction will take place on the day. We are delighted that our school has been chosen to participate in this fantastic fundraising opportunity.

We are asking all parents to support the event in any way they can. If you are a member of a Vintage club, own or have access to a tractor or vintage car, we would be honoured if you would partake in our Tractor Run. Sponsorship cards will be distributed and we hope that each family will take and fill one, all monies raise from these cards will go to Killeigh N.S.                    Perhaps you would be willing to purchase a ‘brick’ on our wall, which will be on display outside our school and on our dedicated Facebook page which will advertise your business. We also welcome raffle prizes or donations for an Auction which will take place in Killeigh on the same day.

If you work in a business or are connected to businesses that would be willing to sponsor our event, please let us know and we will provide a standard letter to present to that business outlining what the event is about. All donations will be receipted for tax purposes.

Please help to spread the word and invite people to like our web page ‘Tractor Run in aid of Killeigh NS’. We will be updating it regularly and sharing news and events that will take place in the lead up to the Tractor Run.
