Sensory Room

When the building work is completed, we will be converting one of the rooms in the school prefab to a Sensory room.  We are very grateful to Paula O’Connor who has led the fundraising drive to help kit out the room with the appropriate materials and equipment.  Paula recently completed the Flora Women’s Mini Marathon to raise funds for the project.  Anyone wishing to contribute can contact Paula or call to Damian at the school.

The Sensory room will be a fantastic facility for the school to have.  It will help children with anxiety issues to regulate their emotions and to enjoy the peaceful and calming atmosphere it will offer.  We will build up the amount of equipment gradually over time or as required.
