It was a proud evening for the cast and production team of 'A Triumph of All Sorts' when they gave an excellent performance of an excerpt of the play in Tullamore Library at the launch of their wonderful na Resource Pack for Schools on the Easter Rising.

Guests on the evening included Eamonn Dooley, Chairman Offaly Co. Council, Michael Parsons from the Laois Offaly Heritage movement as well as several other politicians, historians , school principals ,parents and library staff. It was especially nice for the children to meet the grandchildren of Offaly man Eamonn Bulfin who first raised the flag of The Irish Republic over the GPO on Easter Monday 1916. In turn they were very excited to see their grandfather portrayed on stage and they said he would have loved the play!

Afterwards, everyone was fulsome in their praise of the children, their depiction of the events at the birth of our nation and of the wonderful singing which accompanied the drama.
