Post date: Oct 21, 2016 1:31:28 PM

The victorious U14 and U16 footballers from Na Fianna visited the school today with a very impressive haul of silverware.  Featuring many former pupils both teams have had a great year.

Team managers Paraic Gallagher, Ken Beatty and Dermot Cuskelly all praised the work ethic of the players involved and their attitude to training and to their mentors. Mr White praised the work that Na Fianna do in both codes and said how proud he was to welcome back the lads. Finally we all gave  our girls team a huge cheer as they prepare for their football final next Wednesday.

We would also like to thank Na Fianna for their very generous donation of an O'Neills football to the school

Everyone is encouraged to go to OConnor Park next Wednesday when the girls will take on Durrow at 2:30. Please note there is an admission charge pf €3 for adults to help cover the cost of medals, and referees etc.
