Engineers Week 2019 - 6th class take on the Paper tower challenge

Pupils from both 6th classes had to use their problem solving skills recently when the took on the following challenge. They were tasked with building a free standing tower or structure using only paper. They were not allowed use any type of fastening device such as tape, staples, elastics etc.

The tower had to support the weight of a 100grm bag of rice.

The boys and girls were very resourceful and came up with a few imaginative solutions.
