Which rubbish will decompose?
Pupils in Ms Regans class have been learning about how to sort our rubbish. They decided to test a number of different materials to determine which ones would rot or decompose (which ones are biodegradable) They recently buried a number of different materials and they plan to go back and dig them up after a few weeks to see what trace of each material has been left behind.

Pupils from Sen infants and 1st class got to learn about energy and how we can save energy when Paula Harte visited from SEAI and conducted a workshop with the children as part of Science Week. Aided by her puppet Oscar the children she engaged the children in a presentation and question and answer session. Later that afternoon she also worked with 6th class.
