Stop Motion Animation
An absolutely excellent way to keep children busy is a StopMotion app. There are many apps out there. It involves taking photos of lego mini-figures or simple pictures and then introducing slight changes to them before taking the next photo. You repeat the process until you have an animation. IXL.com - There are loads of fun maths games available at IXL.com. It's best if the teacher recommends something for you to do, however.
There are plenty of games available on here to help practice maths tables etc. make sure and pick something appropriate to your child's level.

Plant some seeds
Many of our supermarkets are selling seeds at the moment. Cur the top off of a milk carton. Fill it with soil or compost and sow some seeds. Don't forget to water it.

Offaly Libraries have unsurprisingly stepped up to the mark in the ongoing closure period. There are daily book readings on their Facebook page and while branches are currently closed, it is possible to borrow books online and read them on a laptop / tablet / book reader. Click here for more info.
